Canadian Network

The mission of the Canadian Network (CAN-NODA) is to provide opportunities for Canadian NODA members to remain current on orientation topics and agendas that are distinctly Canadian in nature. Canadian orientation professionals are challenged in regularly communicating with other institutions due to Canadian geographic and economic constraints.

Recognizing these challenges, this group strives to develop creative connections with other Canadian professionals at NODA conferences and year round. Currently, this Network is developing a Canadian information exchange that can be accessed through e-mail. Canada has vast orientation program resources available to their professionals. One current goal of the Canadian Network is to organize a comprehensive orientation resource document that is topic specific to Canadian institutions and their students. Participants are encouraged to present conference information sessions for the benefit of their Canadian colleagues and to update all NODA members on Canadian orientation issues.
