What is a NODA Associate Membership?
Marketing your products and services as an Associate Member through the National Oritentation Directors Association is your best opportunity to make contacts, sell or promote your products, establish your message, research the market, and/or introduce new products to over 1,700 members at over 850 college or university campuses across the country.
A NODA Associate Membership is for individuals, organizations, businesses or corporations that provide products and services that benefit NODA members in carrying out their duties and responsibilities at their institutions.
What are the benefits of and Associate Membership?
- The opportunity to purchase exhibit space at the NODA Annual Conference reaching over 750 participants in one unique event.
- Access to exclusive sponsorship opportunities at the Annual and Regional Conferences.
- The opportunity to propose and possibly present an educational program at an Annual Conference, with either paid registration to the conference or paid exhibit space.
- Receive recognition on the NODA website, including a link to their website, a description of the service or business, and the year they joined NODA as an Associate Member.
- The opportunity to purchase advertisement in, or sponsor, the Orientation Review or NODA Member Handbook Publications.
- Receive one electronic set of Membership Labels per year that consists of over 1,700 members.
- Access to the NODA listserv with 2 listserv advertisements per year showcasing your services or products.
How do you become a NODA Associate Member?

Who Are NODA Members?
- Most of the professional members of NODA are at decision-making levels and have purchasing power in regards to the products and services they use in their repsective programs.
- In addition to traditional new student orientation programs, our members may also be responsible for coordinating: Summer reading programs, new student convocations, welcome weeks, first year experience courses/ seminars, extended orientation camps, parent association activities, family weeked, retention programs, and programming in various student affairs areas including, but not limited to, student activites, greek life, and union programming.
- Graduate and Undergraduate members of NODA are usually involved in other organizations on campus where they pass along ideas and products that they see at NODA conferences.
