Overview of the Position
Purdue University is seeking a hardworking and energetic candidate with experience in educational programming or student services. - Attend Learning Communities programs and events. (This may include some evening and weekend hours) and assist with the recruiting efforts on and away from campus.
- Assist with program assessment and evaluation efforts.

The anticipated salary range will be $35,000 – $37,500 depending on experience.

· Distribute the monthly electronic parent newsletter (Parent Listserv) and maintain and update parent website.
10. Manage the Orientation and Parent Programs office, including strategic planning, assessment and budget oversight.
· Identify mechanism to assess needs of new students and parents on a regular basis.
· Develop long-term goals and annual objectives for Orientation and Parent Programs.
· Allocate budget and staff resources in line with long-term goals and annual objectives.
· Regularly collect and report appropriate and meaningful "metrics" to measure outputs and outcomes of Orientation and Parent Programs.
11. Select, train, and coordinate the activities associated with 200+ students comprising the Wildcat Welcome (New Student Week) staff.
12. Supervise one 12-month Graduate Assistant and one undergraduate intern.

Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1. Master's degree in college student personnel administration or other relevant discipline required.
2. Minimum of three years full-time experience at college/university in student affairs or related field; five years preferred.
3. Understanding of educational environment at highly selective institutions like Northwestern.
4. Demonstrated experience in program development, including contract negotiations with outside vendors, speakers, and programming groups.
