I would like to invite you to complete the Membership Needs Assessment by February 15, 2016. It is imperative that you take the time to complete this assessment, as the feedback you share will guide the work of the Association for the next several years and ensure that the programs, services, and information we provide continue to meet your needs as a member of NODA.
As many of you are aware, an Ad Hoc Committee completed the last needs assessment process back in 2012. At the spring 2015 meeting of the NODA Board of Directors, the Board approved a motion that the Association must conduct a formal needs assessment on a regular basis, to provide the information necessary to guide the work of the Association in an intentional manner.
Created by the Research Committee, the 2016 Membership Needs Assessment addresses a number of questions:
Is the Association on track in meeting the goals outlined in its Strategic Plan?
Are current educational offerings provided by NODA effective in meeting your needs as a member of the Association?
Are there particular topics, content areas, or issues in higher education that you would like to see NODA address in the near future?
Is this educational content being delivered in ways that best meet your needs?
Note that your answers will be confidential. Text comments will be reported verbatim, so please do not provide identifying information in your text comments. The link that you've received to complete the Needs Assessment is unique to you and can only be used once, so please do not forward it to any other members.
I thank you in advance for completing this assessment, and taking the time to share your thoughts with the Association staff and NODA Leadership. Look for updates from the Association about our findings as we progress throughout the year!
