Ad Hoc Committee: Core Competencies Implementation
Applications due by January 25, 2017
At the summer meeting of the NODA Board of Directors, the Board formally approved a set of Core Competencies for the field of Orientation, Transition and Retention that can be used to guide professional development. After a number of strategic discussions, the Board felt that the scope of this work was extremely broad and multifaceted, and that it would be beneficial to develop a strategy for how the Association should implement these competencies, both in the short-term and over the next several years.
With this plan in mind, the NODA Board of Directors approved the formation of an Ad Hoc Committee for Core Competency Implementation. We invite you to apply to this exciting volunteer leadership opportunity.
The charge of this committee:
Identify the key elements of a formal implementation process that the Association should address, and prioritize these elements.
