Description: Have you considered conducting a pre-arrival program abroad to help international students transition? Get some tips on creating a program that responds to some of the major concerns international students and their families have before arriving. This forum will explore strategies for securing funding, topics that should be covered, planning tips, ways to involve student leaders and assessment results indicating why these programs have such a positive impact on students.

Description: Members of the NODA International Student Network have many great program ideas and resources to share with others interested in the orientation, transition, and retention of international students. This Network Forum will discuss the process used and strategies to write a conference educational session program proposal for NODA regional and annual conferences to share those great ideas with your peers.
