NODA Leader
Beth Lingren Clark

Director of Orientation and First Year Programs
University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

Current NODA Position: President Elect

Why was getting involved in NODA important to you?

I value the exchange of ideas and best practices, and as a new professional I received a tremendous amount of support and encouragement.

Why should a member consider a leadership position in NODA?

Getting involved in NODA was one of the best things I did. It exposes you to broader aspects of the OTR field, braodens your network with colleagues and resources while you develop as a professional.

What have you gained from your leadership positions in NODA?
So much! Knowledge of the Association and its business watching it evolve as we implemented a permanent home office. A Network of colleagues who I can call upon today for advice and best practices. Individual growth and development learning how to navigate difficult situations and people
