Why was getting involved in NODA important to you?
I am involved in several professional higher education associations.
NODA has been the association that I have felt the most comfortable
being a part of, and I wanted to give back to the association.
Why should a member consider a leadership position in NODA?
The NODA leadership experience will help you grow professionally, and provide you an experience that is everlasting. What have you gained from your leadership positions in NODA?
I have gained a professional network that I can reach out to anytime.
This network extends beyond my region. In addition, serving on the
board provides me the opportunity to think strategically about the
association. In Kathryn Kay's NODA spotlight post, she summed
her response to this question by stating "a professional home." I could
not agree more! What is your favorite NODA related memory?
My favorite NODA related memories begin with the OPI experience. My OPI
experience created the foundation for my professional growth in the
association and my career. Region IV conferences have created an environment that is fun. I love roll call!
