Introducing the 2020 Annual Conference Program Chair

We are excited to announce that Eddie Higginbotham IV has been selected as the 2020 NODA Annual Conference Program Chair!

Eddie currently serves as the Associate Director of New Student and Family Programs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to working at UT Knoxville, Eddie served as the Assistant Director for Leadership and New Student Engagement at the University of Georgia, the Assistant Director of New Student and Family Programs at Florida State University, and as a Senior Leadership Consultant and Expansion Coordinator at Theta Chi Fraternity International Headquarters. He received his bachelor's degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and his master's degree from Florida State University. 

Eddie has held several leadership positions in NODA, currently serving on the 2018 NODA Annual Conference Planning Committee as one of the Co-Chairs for Educational Sessions and Evaluation and is a Co-Chair for the Extended Orientation Network. Eddie hosted the 2017 Extended Orientation Institute and was the Educational Session Chair for the 2016 Institute. He has presented several educational sessions at NODA events and has volunteered for many NODA programs and initiatives. Eddie has also been the recipient of the NODA Outstanding Mentor Award and Excellence in Program Leadership Award. He is currently co-authoring a chapter in an upcoming NODA publication.
