It wasn't so long ago, back in 2016, that NODA unveiled NODA Connect, our online community where members can share files, reach out to fellow members to discuss promising practices, and to stay in touch outside of the conferences. These communities offer an extensive opportunity for you to share the great work you are doing in your programs and on your campuses, as well as learn about the great things others are doing across North America. Please follow the following steps to use NODA Connect to its full potential:
Discussions in Communities
1. Go to nodaweb.org, and under the Resources tab click "NODA Connect"
2. After logging in, click on "Communities" and then "All Communities"
3. Click on "NODA Connect" community.
4. Once in this community you can click "Discussion", where you are able to either
Participate in a current conversation happening by click on the "Thread Subject" and simply hitting "Reply" next to the thread.
Post a new message by clicking, "Post New Message", a green button in the top right.
File Library in Communities
Each Community also has a "Library" at the top where you can save files and see other files that people have placed. The NODA Connect library has presentations from Annual Conferences dating back to 2012 and has folders for people to share resources from their campuses on a variety of topics. Need an outline for your orientation schedule? Chances are it is already there!
